The use of persuasion is part of the conventional selling process. Persuasion creates resistance. It might be subtle, such as the other person agreeing to do something and then proceeding to not do it… or it might be more direct in the form of an objection or rejection. Feel what it’s like when someone attempts to persuade you!
Stop persuading and people will stop resisting. Then you won’t have to learn techniques to overcome objections! How do you do this? Allow people to come to their own conclusions and persuade themselves to do something different. Asking the ‘right types of questions’, using the magic of Dialogue, will help them do this.
