I recently purchased a tuxedo and I was sure that Tuxedo pants should not be cuffed, but I failed to double check with my tailor before leaving the suit with him. (I was also getting another suit hemmed with cuffs.)
Here is the bottom line:
Tuxedo trousers should not be cuffed.
Suit trousers may be cuffed or not cuffed…it’s a personal preference thing.
